I am an enterprise Application Architect whose approach to resilient systems began with high-stakes operational responsibility. Before architecting identity governance, automation, and API integration frameworks for enterprise environments, I worked with interconnected real-time defense systems during active combat deployments.
I am a former active-duty U.S. Army Staff Sergeant (SSG) who served in the United States Army Air Defense Artillery (ADA). I was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, with A/2-44 ADA.
I completed two combat deployments: Iraq in 2008–2009, including service at Joint Base Balad operating and maintaining Counter-Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar (C-RAM) systems and Sentinel Radar data networks; and Afghanistan in 2010–2011.
After those deployments, I made a permanent change of station to the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. I served there as a Ground-based Midcourse Defense Global Operations Watch Noncommissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC).
For clarity, my military service and each of these assignments were with the U.S. Army—not the U.S. Air Force. Joint Base Balad and Peterson Air Force Base were deployment or duty locations; their names do not indicate my branch of service.
Managing real-time tactical air-tracking data used to help safeguard more than 28,000 personnel demanded data fidelity, operational continuity, and mission-first troubleshooting. Today, I apply that same U.S. Army discipline to secure, resilient, observable, and supportable enterprise application architectures.
